The FLIR Thermal Night Vision Camera HM-324 is a compact, light weight, easy-to-use camera. The Flir Thermal Night Vision Camera allows you to see clearly and without hassel in complete darkness. Smoke and light fog are not a problem for this portable camera. The Flir Thermal Vision Camera uses thermal imaging technology to allows you to see obstacles when others cannot. This camera stores still images on the SD card and can detect a man standing up to 1,800 ft (550m) away! The FOV is 24° x 18°. This product uses freeze frame technology to capture pictures. There is no SD card, but it is an option to upgrade to HM-324XP+ via software for all your picture needs. The battery life is over 5 hours when in operation and the battery life in stand-by is around 120 hours (NiMH batteries)! The temperature that is perfect conditions for the Flir Systems Night Vision Camera is anywhere from -4°F to 140°F. Temperature and weather is no match for seeing clearly. It is a must-have for sailors, fisherman, or anyone exploring at night.
