Outdoor Research also designed excellent flow through ventilation with a vent in the foot box and no see-um mesh at the head to make this bivy comfortable on warm summer nights. The Outdoor Research Advanced Waterproof Bivy is large enough for an extra warm sleeping bag and small enough that you can completely warm the interior with just body heat even in the winter. An Outdoor Research Advanced Solo Bivy packs up small enough to stow in your trunk or your go-bag for those nights when you need shelter unexpectedly.
